A cleansing diet is different than a maintenance diet. During a cleanse, the goal is to take as much stress off the digestive tract, and give your organs a much needed break. So, your diet may be more strict than you are used to. A cleansing diet can help reset taste buds, so that you crave healthier foods. Flooding your body with nutritious foods will help maximize your results, increase your energy, balance hormones, and aid in a healthy digestive tract. If you feel you need to add some protein in to your diet, make sure that 80% of your diet is a cleansing diet.
